Dear Cowboys Nation or Country (or whatever you call yourselves),
Do I really have to do this again? I thought I made myself crystal clear last year.
(Snips from last year's blog: "It seems as the loyal fans of the team have broken. Broken to a point where even in a close game, they know the outcome is tragic.)
Yeah, broken is an understatement. There are times when fans are getting into fistfights outside of AT&T Stadium, and tossing their TV's on the ground. Seriously, who the hell tosses a TV after a loss? Insurance isn't going to cover that! Try going into a Best Buy or a Circuit City with your broken television and explain to the associate there why this television is broken. You're not getting another one!
The finger pointing after the division loss was probably a sign of frustration. Here's the truth staring you in the face. Even though Dak Prescott, Brett Maher and other players deserve the blame for the division defeat, the guy at the top deserves as much of the blame as anyone else. Here's the truth, again. Jerry Jones continues to handcuff the franchise by not letting the football people do the football things to make the football organization successful. You guys and gals put money in his wallet by buying merchandise and tickets to a game, so.......
There are some Dallas Cowboys fans who are civil and reasonable to talk with. Then, there are some are not civil and reasonable to talk with. It's a problem that the latter gets the most attention. You really shouldn't have to be that dramatic over a playoff loss every season. That's a lot of seasons.
Anyways, keep your head up and look on the bright side, at least the Cowboys make the playoffs consistently. That's something to hang your hat on.
