A.J. Rants About Draymond Green

This is an ongoing situation with Draymond Green. The man continues to get this label of being a dirty player. It is because he is one, plain and simple. It's to a point where his own fanbase is turning against him. People are starting to not make excuses for him, because there is no excuses. You can not go out there on the court and physically try to hurt your opponent. He has done this time and time again with opponents and even teammates. Earlier this year, he put a headlock on T'Wolves center Rudy Gobert and was suspended. Tonight, he tried to swing at Suns center Jusef Nurkic. Enough is enough!

Everytime an incident happens, he will point out how it wasn't his intent or that he learned his lesson. The problem is that he hasn't. Remember when he accosted LeBron and earned him a suspension for the Finals? This was in 2016, seven years ago. Many point out that this is the reason why the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead. Seven years have gone by and it's the same ol' song and dance.

Once the NBA can come back to earth over their self-euphoria of the In-Season Tournament, they have to address this. Suspending him indefinitely should do the trick. Telling him that he needs to go to anger management should also help. Deferring his salary should send a clear message. The problem is that either the league or the Warriors, themselves, have to take action. That's up to them.

I know that you are saying that I have a vendetta since Draymond stomped on Domantas Sabonis's chest during the playoffs. Well, remember when he punched his now ex-teammate Jordan Poole? That was straight out assault. Yet the Warriors seem to just forget about it and continue to go about their business like nothing happened. Unfortunately, they are not the dynasty that they were once before and Green's actions are costing them games. They can't rely on Steph and Klay to bail them out like they used to or Steve Kerr's explanations to soothe the press's objections.

It's plain and simple, consequences have to be levied for his over-the-top actions.

BREAKING NEWS: As I was going to finish this when I got home from work, the NBA decided to come correct and do the right thing. They suspended Draymond Green indefinitely. Something they should have done years back. This should be the final straw for his antics against his opponents.

Actually, this really wasn't a rant after all. Just a stern synopsis on Draymond Green's fall from grace.
