Wow, MLB and it's players. It took you till late June to figure out a solution to start the season. Don't blame you though. Well, here's the simulated season previews.

BALTIMORE ORIOLES
Not much of a preview for this team. This is a full rebuild for the Orioles, who are actually stockpiling prospects in their farm system for a bright future. Bleakness is in the picture in Baltimore for the simulated season. Last season, they set the record for allowing the most home runs in a campaign. They set it in mid-August. Yikes.
BOSTON RED SOX
The Red Sox had a very un-Red Sox off-season. After axing GM Dave Dombrowski in the middle of last season, the BoSox decided not to add to their ever-rising payroll. The victim of all this was all-world outfielder Mookie Betts. Boston still has young talent to compete in the AL, but how long until they want huge contracts and the franchise will opt not to pay them. Manager Alex Cora resigned, because of the sign-stealing scandal.
NEW YORK YANKEES
The Yankees finally realized that you need quality pitching: either starting or relief, to build a path to the World Series. New York spent big bucks (9 years, $324 million dollars) to be exact on top free-agent starter Gerrit Cole. However, the rest of the rotation is suspect with Luis Severino out due to TJ surgery. The Yanks have a Murderer's Row lineup, but will the pitching hold up for a World Series run?
TAMPA BAY/MONTREAL? RAYS
The Rays continue to overachieve and Kevin Cash should have won at least one Manager of the Year award. Why does Tropicana Field have to be a cesspool? It's gotten so bad that MLB and the Rays are considering going to Olympic Stadium in Montreal. OLYMPIC FREAKIN' STADIUM! Like trading alfalfa sprouts for lava beans. Tampa will continue to overachieve.
TORONTO BLUE JAYS
The Blue Jays have a young foundation. Vlad Jr, Cavan Biggio, Bo Bichette and the most seasoned prospect in this year's draft, Austin Martin, will make up a scary lineup in the future. If they can develop pitching prospects in the farm, the Jays could be a contender in.....say six years.
CHICAGO WHITE SOX
After it seems like many years to developing young talent, the Chisox decided to spend money on Yasmani Grandal, Edwin Encarnicion, Gio Gonzalez and Dallas Keuchel. The veterans could mesh with the top prospects and could make up a wild card contender. On paper.
CLEVELAND IND.....
Hear that. That's the sound of their championship door slamming shut. Cleveland realized this and traded Corey Kluber for prospects. The story is the rumor of dealing future star Francisco Lindor. They could just sign the guy or just start over. It looks like they are leaning towards starting over. Damn. That collapse in the '16 World Series is still stinging this franchise.
DETROIT TIGERS
Remember 2003! The Tigers were the worst teams of all-time with players like Mike Maroth, Jeremy Bonderman and Nate Corenjo. Detroit is at this point now. They have prospects in #1 overall picks in Casey Mize and Spencer Torkelson. The future could be bright in the Motor City. It's bleak times.....for now.
KANSAS CITY ROYALS
(Same situation with the Tigers) The Royals are in bleak times. Their prospects are still developing and hopefully, first round draft pick Asa Lacy can become an ace. For now, Kansas City will probably share the basement in the AL Central with Detroit. Let's hope the new owner isn't a cheapskate unlike the last two.
MINNESOTA TWINS
There was a time when this franchise was about to contract and couldn't sign players to big money contracts (expect Joe Mauer). My, have times changed. The Twins are a contender who spend money on key positions. This year, they threw dough at Josh Donaldson, which adds more ammunition on a already potent lineup. They are contenders.......if only they can beat the Yankees.
HOUSTON ASTROS
Best team in baseball......Wins pennant on walk-off homer.....idiot assistant GM says lewd comment to female reporters......gets fired.....lose World Series in seven.....shake-up in front office.....stealing signs scandal....punishment handed down.....GM and manager get suspended....GM and manager get fired......team draws ire around baseball....
Still the top teams in baseball.
LOS ANGELES ANGELS
The Angels had a solemn season in 2019 with the death of pitcher Tyler Skaggs. Mike Trout won another MVP, yet the team around him is still not producing and the pitching is lax. So Arte Moreno decided to throw a lot a money.....at another position player, Anthony Rendon. Can Othani be an elite pitcher? Can Dylan Bundy realize his potential? Poor Mike Trout. And Albert Pujols for that matter.
OAKLAND A's
Moneyball comes through again! The A's figure out a way to make a postseason. Matt Chapman looks like a superstar. Wait about two to three years before he gets traded for prospects. Please Oakland, this team needs a better stadium. Have a heart. At least they won't be playing in Olympic Stadium in Montreal, am I right?
SEATTLE MARINERS
13-2. The start of the 2019 season for the Mariners. Then it all fell apart. I watched a six part documentary about the history of this franchise, which made me sympathetic about them. They have become the Cleveland Browns of MLB. A sympathetic figure in the baseball realm. They are in rebuild or hell mode right now. Hopefully, it gets better.
TEXAS RANGERS
The Rangers look like a team that can contend. They still have the big bats in Joey Gallo and Rougned Odor. Texas added a legit ace in 2-time Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber and have sparkling a new stadium.....despite it being roasted on Twitter......and the old stadium still up to MLB standards. The Rangers could make noise for a playoff spot is what I'm saying.
